Suremaxx – Imidacloprid 17.8% SL
Suremaxx is an insecticide manufactured by MaxxGro Agrology Limited, containing Imidacloprid 17.8% as a soluble liquid (SL) formulation. It is used for the control of Aphid, Whitefly, Jassid and Thrips in cotton. Imidacloprid is a systemic neonicotinoid insecticide absorbed by the plant and translocated to actively growing tissue.
Imidacloprid 17.8% SL is also registered for use in paddy (rice) against brown plant hopper, white backed plant hopper and green leaf hopper, and in chilli against jassid, aphid and thrips. As a soluble liquid, Suremaxx is diluted in water before spray application, and should be used strictly as per the crop, pest, dose and timing recommendations on the approved product label.

Imidacloprid is a neonicotinoid insecticide that binds to nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChR) in the insect central nervous system. This causes continuous nerve excitation, leading to paralysis and death of the target pest. As a systemic compound, it is absorbed and translocated within the plant, providing protection against sap-sucking insects. Imidacloprid is classified under IRAC Group 4A (nicotinic acetylcholine receptor agonists).
Suremaxx (Imidacloprid 17.8% SL) is diluted in the recommended volume of water and applied as a foliar spray in cotton, using standard knapsack or boom sprayers, following the approved product label.
