Hexaconazole is a triazole (DMI) fungicide that inhibits ergosterol biosynthesis by blocking the 14α-demethylase enzyme, which is required for fungal cell membrane formation. This disrupts membrane integrity and normal fungal growth. Hexaconazole is systemic and is classified under FRAC Group 3 (DMI fungicides).
Hexxon Pro (Hexaconazole 5% SC) is diluted in the recommended volume of water and applied as a foliar spray in grapes, using standard knapsack or boom sprayers, following the approved product label.
